Diana Gonzalez Moreno
Arquitecta de la Escuela adscrita a la Facultad de Arquitectura, Arte y Diseño de la Universidad de San Buenaventura, de la cual se gradúa en 2010 con un proyecto de fin de carrera que fue calificado de sobresaliente, con estudios en la Escuela de Fotografía del Valle. A partir de 2010 inicia la actividad como arquitecta y fotógrafa en las áreas de diseño, asociada con oficinas locales para la producción de interiores, espacios y artículos expositivos y en colaboración con entidades dedicadas a la preservación del patrimonio, como el INCIVA y la FELLG, para las cuales realiza el registro fotográfico de piezas arqueológicas del puente Ortiz y la cultura Malagana. Además de la gestión administrativa, con la coordinación de la primera fase del primer macroproyecto de vivienda para Cali y la participación activa en la redacción de los planes estratégicos de vivienda para Cali y protección para la Estación de Palmira, con la ONU y las fundaciones GIP y FELLG. En el 2019 viaja a Madrid para realizar una maestría en Proyectos Arquitectónicos Avanzados, en la Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura de Madrid, obteniendo el titulo en 2022 con una investigación sobre la obra de Juan Navarro Baldeweg, que contó con la tutoría del arquitecto Luis Martínez Santa-María y fue calificada de excelente. Desde su regreso ejerce en paralelo la actividad independiente como arquitecta y docente, dictando los cursos y talleres de representación, historia, teoría y proyectos en las Universidades de San Buenaventura y Autónoma. En la actualidad compagina las actividades académicas y profesionales con la realización del doctorado en Madrid. Considera el oficio que desarrolla como una reflexión acerca de la cualificación interior de las diferentes escalas espaciales, de la habitación al territorio intimo, a través de la definición de limites que se producen con diferentes medios y recursos expresivos. Architect of the School attached to the Faculty of Architecture, Art and Design of the Universidad de San Buenaventura, from which she graduated in 2010 with an end of career project that was qualify as prominent, with studies at the Escuela de Fotografía del Valle. Starting in 2010 she began her activity as an architect and photographer in the design areas, associated with local offices for the production of interiors, exhibition spaces and articles and collaborating with organizations dedicated to the preservation of heritage, such as INCIVA and FELLG, for which makes the photographic register of archaeological pieces of the puente Ortiz and the Malagana culture. Also administrative management, with the coordination of the first phase of the first housing macro project for Cali and the active participation in the writing of the strategic housing plans for Cali and protection for the Estación de Palmira, with the ONU and the GIP and FELLG foundations. In 2019 travels to Madrid to follow a master’s studies in Advanced Architectural Projects, at the Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura of the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, obtaining the degree in 2022 with an investigation on the work of Juan Navarro Baldeweg, which was tutored by the architect Luis Martinez Santamaria. Since her return, she has been working independently as an architect and teacher, teaching courses and workshops on representation, history, theory, and design at the Universities of San Buenaventura and Autónoma. She currently combines her academic and professional activities with pursuing her doctorate in Madrid. She considers the profession that she develops as a reflection on the interior qualification of the different spatial scales, from the room to the intimate territory, through the definition of limits that are produced with different means and expressive resources.
